  • The Frauenkirche in rococo style
  • The Margrave castle, the only castle built by the House of Habsburg in Germany
  • Reisensburg castle
  • The almost fully preserved old town with its city tower
  • The local museum Günzburg with large prehistoric collections

Guided tours for groups can be booked in advance online. More information can be found under www.guenzburg.de/gast/tourist-information/informationen-fuer-reisegruppen/gruppenfuehrungen/ (in German)

Historical town Leipheim

The Swabian town of Leipheim is located approx. 5 kilometres from Günzburg and became known through the peasant war. Learn more about this period at the local and peasant war museum Blaue Ente. A tour of the town will make you acquainted with the historical buildings which give you a fascinating insight into Medieval town planning.

Show feedings, show flights with the falconers and the possibility to hold birds on the hand and to feed them makes the experience complete.
